Sea Shanty Fish & Chips

Visiting from Ottawa, we looked up the closest fish and chips place on the internet.. and the Sea Shanty was the recommended choice.
We were not disappointed, service and food quality were excellent.
Surprised how small the dining area was, but made for quick service and hot food.
Lot's of take out orders, which is usually a good sign of regulars.. a positive experience.

I just moved to maple ridge from vancouver and my neighbor recommended this restaurant to me.I was at this restaurant for the first time 3 weeks ago and have been back there twice since then!!!This restaurant offers a big variety of food.I thoroughly enjoyed their cod and chips. The batter was golden,crispy and had an awesome flavor. I was shocked to see some of the specialties they are serving. Deep fried mushrooms,pickles,chocolate bars and deep fried oreos. I tried the deep fried oreos and now am getting cravings for them lol....I have been reading their menu and planning for my next order already!! Thank you new neighbor for recommending such a great restaurant

omg the best fish and chips in maple ridge ) Fantastic service and food. Very generous portions and i always leave totally satisfied and in a good mood because the staff is welcoming at this restaurant....keep up the great work, i will always return to the sea shanty fish and chips!

This fish and chips restaurant is a very quaint little place. Its dining area is like being on a boat. The service and food is very good )

i love the cod and chips. Batter is light and the cod is always fresh tasting and not greasy.The counterperson suggested light batter on my cod because i am a diabetic and i am so happy they suggested it...will always eat my cod light battered from now on. I would recommend this restaurant for good food

we were in at the sea shanty for the first time and had an awesome meal. My husband had a piece of halibut and some scallops and prawns, and i had a piece of cod and 4 prawns.We even had a sample of their deep fried pickles!!! It was totally yummy...portions were generous and service was totally fantastic...would recommend this restaurant for some tasty food.This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend so am just passing the word on )

My family,friends and i loved the sea shanty's fish n chips...generous portions!!! there was 6 of us eating and we ordered an 8piece cod pack and there was plenty of food for all of us. We had clam chowder soup and calamari for appetizers.....mmmmm good. If you want real fish chips, this is the place to go to!!!!

Portions are too small and very expensive. If you are feeding two order a 6-pack and you may have enough!!!
